Carl and Edith Rehnborg started the Kids Club in 1948 as a safe place for boys to grow and play. They brought together a group of community leaders to create an after-school clubhouse environment for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 18. Over the years, it has evolved into what is now known as The Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park. Their son, Dr. Sam Rehnborg, is a continued supporter of the Club and very proud of his parents’ involvement within the community of Buena Park. As an active board member, he, with the support of many Nutrilite suppliers and employees, helped build a safe and nurturing environment for our youth and teens. At Nutrilite, they know positive choices lead to long and healthy lives. The Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park is a place where children are exposed to resources and mentors that encourage healthy decisions.
Today, his daughter Lisa Rehnborg is an active board member and Amway and Nutrilite continue to be a source of volunteers and financial support to the Club. The Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park is, and will always be, an integral part of the Rehnborg family, Nutrilite, and Amway. Dr. Sam Rehnborg knows his parents would be proud to see how their legacy continues to live on.
