The Boys and Girls Club of Buena Park is an after-school recreational program for children and teenagers, ages 6 to 18, offering programs in three key priority areas: Good Character & Citizenship, Academic Success, and Healthy Lifestyles. We strive to develop community partnerships that will help our youth achieve the confidence, skills, and healthy lifestyles necessary to become positive contributors to our community. Our facility offers programs and services to every child, regardless of race, gender, religion, economic statues, or any other factor.

A Little Bit of History...

Carl and Edith Rehnborg started the Kids Club in 1948 as a safe place for boys to grow and play. They brought together a group of community leaders to create an after-school clubhouse environment for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 18. Over the years, it has evolved into what is now known as The Boys & Girls Club. Their son, Dr. Sam Rehnborg, is a continued supporter of the Club and very proud of his parents’ involvement within the community of Buena Park. As an active board member, he, with the support of many Nutrilite suppliers and employees, helped build a safe and nurturing environment. At Nutrilite, they know positive choices leads to long and healthy lives. The Boys & & Girls Club is a place where children are exposed to resources and mentors that encourage healthy decisions.

Today, his daughter Lisa Rehnborg is an active board member and Amway and Nutrilite continue to be a source of volunteers and financial support to the Club. The Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park is, and will always be an integral part of the Rehnborg family, Nutrilite and Amway. Dr. Sam Rehnborg knows his parents would be proud to see how their legacy continues to live on.
